System & Installation
The Kelley project started with the building of a new cottage that the owners wanted to outfit with a radiant system and forced air geothermal system. After the cottage was completed the owners requested a similar system for the main house. The house had a 400,000 btu oil fired boiler with baseboard heat. The boiler was removed, and new ductwork was installed throughout the house. All of the equipment was installed ( 4 – split compressor sections and 1 – 3 ton water to water ) in a 8’ x 8’ mechanical room, and equipment is accessible to be serviced on all sides.
